very simple GK question this quiz
It is very very nice
Question #7 is a bit flawed because of semantics. Distinguishing between “ice” and “field” hockey or “winter” and “summer” Olympics is essential because otherwise there are 2 correct answers. Both A) India and C) USA are correct. Technically, A) India is a better answer because in 1980 the term “hockey” by itself = “field hockey” whereas “ice hockey” is used to designate an entirely separate sport, however, 99.9% of people asked “who won the gold medal in hockey in 1980” are going to answer USA. Or, my Indian friend, is this the exact reason you formulated the question in the manner that you did? Cheeky!
Question #7 is now changed as:
7) Who won the Olympic Gold Medal for hockey in 1980 Moscow Olympics?
