A total of 61 Nobel Prizes and the Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences have been awarded to 60 women. Only one woman, Marie Curie, has been honoured twice, with the Nobel Prize in Physics 1903 and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1911.
